Farofa
Ingredients List
- 2 cups de Farinha de Mandioca (mandioc, cassava flour)
- 100g bacon em cubes
- 2 level soup spoons de dry Chimichurri
- Sal, 1 spring onion e small amount of parsley to taste
- 1 small white onion diced
- 3 cloves of garlic diced
- olive oil
- Parsley
Method
- add olive oil to the pan.
- fry the bacon render the fat, but not too golden,
- sweat the onions, then the garlic,
- add the chimichurri hydrate it in the juice/fat
- add the cassava flour then the parsley and spring onion
- toast until yellow (_almost_ golden)
- careful not to burn as it turns very quick
